Collaboration on Maintenance Services in the Oil and Gas Industry, PJB Services and EFK Sign Memorandum of Understanding

Thursday, September 14th, 2023 - PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali Services (PJB Services) agreed upon a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT Elnusa Fabrikasi Konstruksi (EFK) for equipment maintenance services in the oil and gas industry at the PJB Services’ show booth in the PLN Nusantara Power Connect 2023 event on Tuesday (12/9), at the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta.

This MoU represents a commitment and the beginning of PJB Services and EFK's cooperation in equipment maintenance and maintenance services for the oil and gas industry. PJB Services is a leading company in Indonesia that provides power plant operation and maintenance services, whereas EFK is a subsidiary of PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa) and a part of Pertamina Hulu Energi Upstream Subholding with superior business competencies in oil and gas facilities, oil and gas pipeline threading and trading, as well as fabrication and construction. 

Teguh Widjajanto, President Director of PJB Services, stated, "With further partnership, it is expected to enhance PJB Services' offerings for the oil and gas industry because EFK is a part of Pertamina Hulu Energi to expand into the market together."

Furthermore, the Director of EFK, Ari Wijaya, emphasized that this strategic involvement is an actual representation of synergy commitment from the BUMN group to have a collaboration in supporting the Government's program in achieving the target of oil and gas production for 1 million barrels in 2030.

"Undoubtedly, we expect that the skill of PJBS will further develop the capacity and outstanding performance of EFK. In turn, the strengths of PJBS could be complemented by EFK's competencies. As a way for PJBS and EFK to reap the benefits from this partnership as the best energy services provider," said Ari.
