EFK Conducts First Batch of Non-HSSE First Aider Training

Jakarta, September 12, 2025 – In emergency situations, every second counts. Prompt and accurate first aid can be the deciding factor in saving a life. With this awareness, PT Elnusa Fabrikasi Konstruksi (EFK) conducted the first batch of Non-HSSE First Aider Training, facilitated in-house by EFK personnel certified by the Ministry of Manpower as first aiders. The training was held simultaneously across multiple EFK work areas — Office Iskandarsyah Jakarta, Merak Workshop, OCTG Batam Workshop, and EIR Balikpapan Workshop. This initiative is part of the SIGAP Bekerja Culture Program (Safety, Integrity, and Care at Work).

The training was designed to strengthen the fundamental competencies of all EFK employees in providing first aid. These skills are expected to be applied not only in the workplace but also in everyday life, fostering a culture of care and preparedness. The acquired competence also enables participants to share their knowledge with family and communities, extending the program’s positive impact beyond the company.

Communication & Relations EFK representative, Aswin Saputra, expressed appreciation to the Agents of Change who initiated the program.

“We truly appreciate our colleagues who took the initiative to launch this program. We hope the first aider training continues consistently until it covers all EFK employees this year, ensuring that the SIGAP Bekerja culture is fully internalized in daily activities,” said Aswin.

With this capability, every employee can serve as a frontliner in ensuring safety, both at work and within their families and communities,” he concluded.
