The DUOLINE® system, developed by Duoline Technologies in 1965, has proven to be the most successful solution for the prevention of downhole tubular corrosion. installed more than 110million feet and 55000wells around the world. The DUOLINE® system ensures the isolation of corrosive oilfield fluids and gases from the steel, thereby preventing corrosion of steel tubing, rod and line pipe. DUOLINE® system follow API 15CLT Recommended Practice

DUOLINE 20 is a GRE (glass reinforced epoxy) composite liner engineered with a special resin system developed exclusively for Duoline Technologies in 1971. The DUOLINE 20 liner is manufactured using a filament winding and high temperature cure process (Holiday Free). It is widely accepted that GRE lining is a more robust alternative to internal plastic coating. DUOLINE® 20 is a very effective corrosion barrier with a long history of tubular protection in a variety of offshore and land-based applications.

DUOLINE 20 is then inserted inside carbon steel tubing, combining the high strength of steel with the inert properties of fibreglass to provide effective, long lasting corrosion protection. DUOLINE 20 is A cost effective alternative to high-priced alloyed steel tubular goods utilized in seawater injection and salt water disposal from offshore production operations.

Duoline 20 is highly resistant to H2S. The Duoline 20 liner can protect low alloy CS tubing up to: 

  • 144 deg C in absence of H2S

  • 127 deg C in presence of 10% H2S and 10% CO2 

  • 110 deg C in presence of 17% H2S and 10% CO2

Temperature: Up to 250 F / 121 C

Working Pressure: Full working pressure of the lined steel pipe

  • Duoline has a better flow profile than steel pipe.

  • The very smooth internal bore of Duoline causes much less overall friction loss than that of new bare steel;

  • “Hazen & Williams” C-Factor: C=150
